WHAT TO EXPECT
A lovely place to stay…
Expect to experience a cool Victorian building with high ceilings, huge bay windows and featured cornicing, The hotel is small and intimate and prides itself on modern, clean and fresh accommodation. Customer service is very important to everyone at the hotel.
Rooms have great facilities such as WIFI, LCD TV with Freeview, tea/coffee making facilities and brand new modern en suite bathrooms.
The bar is open daily and serves a wide variety of traditional Scottish malts, wines, bottled and tap beers and lagers. This venue is a great place to relax and a quiet drink, meet with friends, watch international sporting events on the two large television screens or listen to live music. Live music nights take place each month.
The hotel does not have an elevator. Rooms are located over 3 floors all accessible by stairs. Free wifi internet access is available in the public areas of the hostel and left luggage facilities are available.The West End Hotel is located in the West End of the city centre close to numerous bars, restaurants and trendy shops. The hotel is within easy reach of the both Edinburgh Waverley and Haymarket stations and for those of you flying into Bonnie Scotland, Edinburgh International Airport is only a short shuttle bus away.
West End hotel is a great place to stay. The hotel has strong connections with the Highlands of Scotland and regularly hostel live traditional music.

Edinburgh Haymarket Tram and Rail station is 5 minutes walk. You wont need a car at West End Hotel. Take a 5 minute walk along to Princes Street. Check out the shops then cross the road to Princes Street gardens and check out Edinburgh Castle.

GROUP 8+ SECURITY DEPOSIT
Groups of more than 8 persons are required to pay a refundable security deposit of £20 per person on arrival. The deposit will be refunded on departure provided there has been no damages or behavior problems.
Twin / Double room with en-suite. Please advise if you require the room to be made as a twin with 2 single beds or a double with 1 double bed. If we have not received a request 1 day prior to arrival, rooms will be allocated subject to availability on the day of arrival.
Quad room with en-suite. Please advise if you require the room to be made as a quad with 4 single beds or a family with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. If we have not received a request 1 day prior to arrival, rooms will be allocated subject to availability on the day of arrival.
Other Important Information:
– All children are welcome when booking a private room – unfortunately children under 18 are not permitted in the dorm rooms.
– There is no capacity for extra beds in the rooms.
– Maximum capacity of baby cots in a private room is 1.
– No pets are permitted in the hotel
