All rooms have new solid pine bunk beds with brand new mattresses, and we have single sex rooms and family rooms available, and all rooms are light and airy with fully functioning windows.
The solid pine beds are topped with a sprung mattress and finished with a layer of memory foam for extra comfort and relaxation. Not only that but our beds are FULL sized and they come with FREE luxury bedding. Expect a grat nights sleep at this edinburgh hostel after exploring the city centre.
Princes Street, Waverley Train station, new Tram Route and the airport shuttle bus are all less than two minutes away.

Breakfast
Haystack Hostel provides a free self service continental breakfast. You can expect a selection of Farmhouse Breads, Croissants, Brioche, Scotch Pancakes, English muffins and Crumpets. A fresh fruit bowl is provided and a selection of jams and spreads. Tea and coffee with fresh milk. Cereals and fruit juices are available to purchase but are not included although for groups we are able to tailor things as per the customers request. Anything from Traditional Scottish Porridge to bacon rolls. We can also organise packed lunches and evening meals.

At Haystack Hostel we can accommodate groups of up to 34 persons.We do accepts Stag and hen Parties. We regularly welcome large summer groups of all types and sizes to Edinburgh Scotland. Language, student, sports groups and famailes are all welcome. We do accept student groups with persons under the age of 16. Please note that our private rooms are not located beside the Dormitories. Our sister Hostel Belford might be a better choice where supervision is required.
