We just want to ensure that you get a great nights sleep, so you will find modern bunks, fresh bedding and individual bed spotlights.<\/p>\n

Embracing the original Victorian building, The Hostel is a spacious building over two levels and many of our rooms feature their own fabulous period features in their cornicing, high ceilings and large windows.<\/p>\n

For those of you in our attic rooms, you will still find spacious rooms with all the comforts you\u2019d expect from a top quality hostel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

West End Hostel is in the heart of Edinburgh\u2019s West End, on the main intersection \u2018Haymarket\u2019.<\/h3>\n

The Hostel is directly directly opposite Haymarket Train and Tram station and on the main bus route and tram route into the city centre from Edinburgh airport. This is a great location to explore the city.<\/p>\n

Road<\/strong>
\nThe roads to Edinburgh from all directions are naturally modern fast roads or motorways.\u00a0 There are a number of ways from which.\u00a0Car parking is available in the streets surrounding The Hostel or there is parking available close by at the Haymarket Station Car Park.<\/p>\n

Train<\/strong>
\nTrains to Edinburgh arrive at the cities famous Waverley Station which is around a\u00a025 minute walk from The Hostel.\u00a0 If you are approaching from Glasgow then you can depart the service to Edinburgh at Haymarket station and The Hostel is located directly opposite. Visit the Scotrail website<\/a> which contains all the necessary information on timetables etc.<\/p>\n

Ferry<\/strong>
\nIf you are arriving in Scotland via the Roysth ferry then information on timetables etc can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Air<\/strong>
\nThe most convenient airport is Edinburgh<\/a> from where you can hire a car. Other international flights to Scotland may land at Glasgow<\/a>\u00a0which is approximately 50 miles away from where you can also hire a car. A frequent bus service also operates from both airports.<\/p>\n

Take a 5 minute walk along to\u00a0Princes Street\u00a0or walk up Morrison Street to Tollcross and Edinburgh’s historic Old Town.<\/p>\n
